Hi Reader,
Notes from a Female Founder
I’m sharpening my work around one core question: how do we help female founder CEOs build sales engines that match the ambition of their companies, without burning themselves out or getting too far away from sales?
I share the full story behind this focus in a short solo episode

Sales Sharpenher
Most female founders don’t have a “sales problem.” They have a distance problem, they’re too far from the real conversations where deals are won and lost.
Ask yourself these three questions this week:
1. Visibility: Where are you personally close to the sales conversation? If you’re not hearing at least one live sales call a week, you’re flying blind.
2. Consistency: Do your team’s calls sound consistent? If every rep is improvising, your issue isn’t effort, it’s the lack of a shared framework
3. Leverage: What are you doing as founder that should be a repeatable sales asset? If your best sales instincts live only in your head, your team can’t scale them.
You don’t need more “rainmakers” until you fix these three.
This week’s conversation
Nikita Jain spent ten years coaching execs at EY, Korn Ferry, and PwC, then walked away from a major promotion to fix the gap she saw in sales training.
Three quick founder takeaways
· Validate before you build. She spent a year prototyping before asking customers and investors to bet on Eubrics.
· Resist “good enough.” She met over 50 potential technical co-founders and ran a three-month trial before committing.
· Protect quality time, not quantity time. “Sometimes you feel a 20-minute connection with someone, and that feels like a lifetime connection.”
And the line every female founder needs to hear:
“We will always raise our hand when we are 150% ready, and men will raise their hand when they are 70% ready. Start raising your hand.” - Nikita Jain, Founder and CEO of Eubrics
Eubrics has crossed $1M in revenue, serves 30+ enterprise customers, and Nikita still gets on sales calls herself.

On LinkedIn this week
I recently asked a simple question: as CEO, when was the last time you listened to a sales call?
If that question makes you pause, this post will help you see why staying close to the conversation matters and how to do it without micromanaging.
